Players are a part of the Virtua City Police Department. Players must clear the enemies and the boss character from each stage before moving on. Players can get better weapons or health by shooting the icon as it appears on the screen.
When hostiles appears a target circle surrounds them, it gradually changes from green to red. After red the enemy will shoot at the player causing damage. Players also sustain damage from shooting a innocent.
