The first in sega popular supernatural light gun shooting series. The game is split into main 4 chapter Tragedy, Revenge, Truth and House of the Dead.
The story follows the path of the 2 secret agents, trying to find the truth surrounding the mysterious mansion and evil genius Curien. Players learn more the further they get, also to keep play fresh. If player's see arrow/signs during play, shooting these will cause the player to take a different path.
Bosses are Curien's special creations sent to protect him and wreck havoc. When the player meets a boss, a medical chart is reveal showing the bosses weak point if any. Shots received to the weak point causes much greater damage to the creature.
