Some major improvements have been made to this version while keeping to the in-depth gameplay and easy to operate controls that made the orginal such a hit.
Some of the improvements include the introduction of professional women's tennis players to the games roster, including the Williams sisters. This allows women's, men's and mixed-doubles matches. The range of shots has also increased - the players can now perform slice, topspin and lobs.
To add more realism, the players movements have been motion captured and more detail has been given to the judges, ball retrievers and fans. The balls also bounce differently depending on the court surface, which include hard, clay, grass and carpet.
