Exceed 2 is the 9th pump it up version to be released for Arcades. It features new music and remixes to bring the total to 136 songs.
The biggest new feature in this version is the Cinematic Item Battle System. Where players use unique characters to battle in a rhythm action game.
The game offers 3 kinds of Stations which are "The Revived Remix Station", "The Arcade Station" and the new "Battle Station." There are also 10 game modes available in this version.
Changes to the worldwide internet ranking system include a newly balanced score system.
