Pump It Up: Zero has implemented a new interface that allows previews of the background animations when viewing a song for selection. This version seeks to capture new players with it's implementation of the all new Easy Mode.
This is coupled with a fresh new Mission & Rewards Systems. Which encourages new and veterans players to keep coming back. In mission mode, the player must complete a set of songs successfully under set conditions.
Each mission generally consists of 3 songs and can be continued if the player fails during the mission. The more successfully completed missions the more rewards the player unlocks. Rewards like hidden songs, steps & skins.
To further bridge the gap between skill ranks, 2 players can battle using different modes. As a sort of handicap against the veteran using the split mode selection option. This version features 128 songs.
