A racing game based on the real annual race the Lemans 24hr held in Lemans in France. Sega consulted with professional drivers who had driven the track to add realism and real life experience to the game.
Sega included cars from the 6 top car manufacturers. As the 24Hour is a long gruelling race, the jump in feature always new players to join in the race at any time, even in the middle of a race.
To keep the race real and as an added attract mode, the race continues even if there are no players. To keep competition at the highest standard up to 3 twin cabinets can be linked to allow 6 player head to head competetion. |
