The brain child of Sega's Yu Suzuki, who consulted with the manufacturer's of many people's Dream Car a Ferrari. This game is based on the actual feel and handling of a F355 (a popular model made by Ferrari.)
The gameplay is made to be as close to driving a real F355 as possible. This is were the gameplay differs from Sega's previous car games like the Daytona series. Since this is true to life, players will need to brake around brake instead of power sliding, and it is harder to break out of spins and to handle the tracks tricker points.
This game is made for fans of Ferraris and true to life gameplay. The game features 6 tracks and a practice mode. The players can choose from 3 models from the F355 series.
The big selling point of the DX version is the 3 x 29" screens position at the front of the cabinet. One straight in front of the players and two on a angle each side of the central monitor to give the player a fully imersive experience. |
