Royal Ascot is an electronic horse racing game with 12 individual betting stations for players to sit at. Each station is equipped with a colour monitor, and players use the monitor at their station to place their bets for the game.
The race includes six horses and jockeys and players can bet for a horse to win or go for the quinella - the first two horses to finish. The race is featured on the machine's 50" projection display monitor in real time and on the detailed track in the middle of the betting stations, while an announcer calls the race and the results. The machine runs a game approximately every one and a half minutes and there are millions of possible races.
